With Logica: A Whimsical Font for Creative Brands

Opening a blank brand board can be both exciting and daunting. As a designer, I often find myself searching for a typeface that feels just right—something that captures the essence of the project without overpowering it. When I tested With Logica on a logo concept for a children’s book publisher, it immediately stood out. This Script Handwritten font has a playful yet structured personality that feels like it was made to spark imagination.

With Logica for Logo Design and Brand Identity

With Logica is a premium font that works best as a display or headline font. Its handwritten style gives it a personal touch, making it ideal for logos that need to feel approachable and creative. I used it on a logo for a boutique stationery shop, and the result felt authentic and inviting. The font’s swashes and fluid lines add a sense of movement, which helps differentiate the brand from more rigid, corporate typefaces.

When paired with a simple sans serif for the tagline, the contrast created a balanced look that felt modern but still warm. It’s important to note that With Logica isn’t meant for long body text—it’s best reserved for short phrases, headlines, or accents in design assets.

With Logica for Packaging Design and Product Labels

Testing With Logica on a packaging mockup for a handmade soap line gave me a clear sense of its strengths. The font’s whimsical nature worked well with the product’s artisanal vibe. On a label, it added a handcrafted feel that complemented the natural ingredients and eco-friendly messaging.

I noticed that the font held up well at larger sizes, which is essential for product labels and signage. However, at smaller sizes, some details became less legible. For this reason, I’d recommend using With Logica for decorative elements rather than critical information on packaging. It’s a great choice for titles or brand names, but not for detailed copy.

With Logica for Social Media Graphics and Web Headers

In social media graphics, With Logica shines as a visual anchor. I used it for an Instagram post promoting a kids’ art class, and the font’s playful style matched the event’s tone perfectly. Its expressive strokes drew attention and added a sense of fun to the design.

On a website header, the font felt bold and dynamic. It worked especially well when paired with a minimalist background, allowing the typography to take center stage. However, I found that it didn’t pair as smoothly with dense web layouts. For websites, it’s best used sparingly—perhaps as a hero section title or a featured section heading.

With Logica for Business Cards and Printed Materials

When I placed With Logica on a business card for a local bakery, the font added a charming, personalized touch. The script style felt like it was written by hand, which aligned with the bakery’s cozy, homey brand identity. It looked great in combination with a soft color palette and subtle textures.

That said, I wouldn’t recommend using it for all text on a business card. At small sizes, the font can become difficult to read, especially if the design is too busy. A better approach would be to use it for the name and title, while keeping the rest of the contact information in a more readable typeface.

With Logica for Editorial and Commercial Design Projects

With Logica’s unique character makes it a strong choice for editorial design, particularly for content aimed at younger audiences. I used it in a magazine spread about early childhood education, and it helped reinforce the theme of creativity and learning. The font’s structured yet playful style felt like it belonged in a storybook.

For commercial design projects, the font is best used as an accent. It adds visual interest without overwhelming the layout. However, it’s not ideal for formal or professional contexts where clarity and simplicity are key. In those cases, a more traditional typeface would be a better fit.
